The London Builder offers a Gallows Brackets installation service(subject to Local Authority stipulations) where we will supply and install the correct gallows brackets to support your chimney stack. Sometimes when people move into their new home they find to their horror that the chimney stack in the loft is not even supported and are amazed that this has never been picked up on when the survey was carried out.The simple fact of the matter is that surveyors do not like climbing into lofts, so therefore they tend to miss out on the fact that gallows brackets may not have been installed eventhough the downstairs chimney has been removed.
